Friesé / Freeze

Freeze is both Freeze, a hulking and muscular polar bear possessing a vast degree of physical strength and speed, and his alter ego Friesé.  The two share a red beret and one consciousness but exist as independent personalities. They are completely unaware of each other.

Friesé is physically transformed into Freeze when subjected to emotional stress (or simply put, someone takes one of his coveted French fries without asking), often leading to destructive rampages and conflicts that complicate Friesé's civilian life. Just before Friesé's transformation, it starts to snow in the general area. Freeze's uncontrollable power has brought him into conflict with the Legends and others but also has wound up aiding them as well, unbeknownst to Freeze/Friesé.
